Up late, first drove towards Orvieto, which was a pretty winding drive with loads of hairpin corners. Yet another cool medieval town with great views over Tuscany.
Drove on to Perugia, which was pretty far and turned out to be a far duller town than expected. Had dinner at a restaurant at night (forgot that we couldn't do any shopping on a Sunday)
Btw, Selmer recommends Neal Stephenson's Baroque Cycle series of book. The first 400 pages of part 1 are somewhat slow but after that it appears to continue at breakneck speed.
